It
is with profound sadness that we notify you of the death of
our daughter, Mary Margaret Norris, Class of '82, Los Gatos
High School.
Mary died suddenly at her apartment on February 18th, 2004 in
Eagle Rock, California. Her unexpected death was apparently
due to natural causes. She had been a reference librarian at
Glendale Main Library since 1995.
Memorial
services were held in at St. Dominic's in Eagle Rock on Friday,
February 27th, and at St. Mary's in Los Gatos on March 3rd.
Prior
to her final position in Glendale she had worked at the Warner
Collection of the Burbank City Library, Burbank, and at the
JFK Library in Vallejo, CA, after receiving her master's degree
in library science at Indiana University, Bloomington. After
completing her bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University,
her first position was with the Boston Museum of Fine Arts in
Boston. She is survived by her two brothers, John and Michael
-- also LGHS graduates, and her parents, Robert and Margaret
Norris of Shannon Road, Los Gatos.
