Dear Friends,

It is with deep regret that inform you of the passing of Spencer
Clark. I don't have many details since my cell phone conversation with Spencer's brothers this morning was very difficult, both technically and emotionally. As I had previously mentioned Spencer's brain activity had tapered off throughout the last week and at the time of our conversation this morning they were harvesting Spencer's organs for transplants to those in need - something that I know Spencer would have supported.

Spencer's brothers have asked that everyone give their family some
time to mourn and adjust to this tragic loss, so please do not phone
the Clark family to offer condolences etc. The time for this will come
and I will try to inform you of any plans for a memorial service.

Please send your healing thoughts to Spencer's wife Patricia, their
four children, and Spence's two brothers and two sisters.

Rest in peace my dear friend, rest in peace . . .
